Mission Statement
OUR MISSION
The mission of West Valley Christian Alliance Church is to fulfill the Great Commission of the Lord (Matthew 28:19-20), to go and make disciples of all nations, to baptize them, and to teach them to obey everything that the Lord has commanded. Our mission is also to encourage all to become witnesses of the Lord so the gospel may be preached to the ends of the earth, that the glorious hope of the second coming of Christ may be fulfilled (Matthew 24:14).

OUR FAITH
West Valley Christian Alliance Church is a part of the movement of the Christian and Missionary Alliance. We embrace the entire statement of faith of the denomination and its structure and polity. We proclaim Jesus Christ as our Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King. We hold fast to the conviction that the Bible is the inspired word of God (II Timothy 3:16). Everyone who believes and receives the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross will be saved. All believers are to pursue sanctification with others in the church, being filled with the Holy Spirit, and living out the divine will of the Lord on each person.

OUR MUSIC
We worship God in spirit and in truth (John 4:23). Therefore, we uphold without prejudice every form of music style as valid means to bring believers into worship and praise of our God, regardless whether it is through traditional hymns or through modern electronically synthesized music. Worship leaders will seek to lead the congregation into worship and praise, to participate in the sweetness of God's presence, in a spirit of reverence and humility with due regard to the cultural background of the congregants.

OUR TEACHING
Messages in Sunday worship services must be grounded in Biblical truth with the aim of urging all believers to press beyond mere hearing the word, but toward practicing it in daily living (James 1:22). Sunday School and fellowship meetings are ideal arenas of learning the Biblical teaching. Believers are exhorted to seek a balance between the objective truth in the Bible and the subjective feeling of the Holy Spirit in the experience. We rely, on one hand, the Scripture to test the reality of the movement of the Holy Spirit; and, on the other hand, we also seek to understand and apply the truth in the Bible through our reliance on the power of the Holy Spirit.

OUR UNITY
We affirm that different people are given different spiritual gifts by God (I Corinthians 12:4). Therefore, we will not give undue emphases on certain gifts over others. Spiritual gifts are not given or practiced to show off the person. Rather, they are used to serve and build up others so that, through complementing and caring for each other, the saints may become perfect, maintaining the unity of the Spirit (Ephesians 4:3). As a result, the blessing of God would abound evermore.

OUR FELLOWSHIPS
We will organize different fellowship or small groups to meet the specific needs of the people according to their age or cultural background. The purpose of our fellowship groups is to allow believers the opportunity to care and nurture each other in an environment of love and pursuit of truth (Ephesians 4:16). They will be the place in which believers receive encouragement and support in their effort to witness to their unbelieving friends and families. They also will be the context in which believers carry out the reality of body life, molding each person be more like Christ, bearing the fruit of the Spirit to the glory of God (Gal. 5:22-23).

OUR CHILDREN
We are committed to the nurturing of the next generation in their reverence of God. Besides activities in the church for the children such as Children's Sunday School, fellowship, and choir, we will assist the parents to become spiritual role-models at home to the upbringing of their children, so that they would not stray from the truth when they grow up (Proverbs 22:6).
